The noise protection walls SILENT are intended for noise shielding arising at traffic on railway and road communications, they protect residential zones against noise arising at traffic on airports and in industrial plants.
From the viewpoint of acoustic absorptivity they fall in the category A3.
The absorptive (aggregate-faced) layer, which is simultaneously a face layer, builds up a porous concrete of undulated form that can be coloured in required shades. The bearing part of the panel is formed by a reinforced-concrete plate.
