The hall forms part of one of the most modern automated tyre warehouses in Europe, with a capacity of over 930,000 tyres and a controlled environment with reduced oxygen levels to enhance fire safety.
For the new HBS warehouse project, we were responsible for the complete supply and installation of the reinforced concrete frame. This also included the installation of anchor points and HBT break-out reinforcement in accordance with the specifications, including the supply of an anchoring system for connection to the monolithic sections. The precast elements were manufactured with a smooth surface in a natural shade of grey, and assembly took place in a single operation from a level, prepared surface, including all necessary joints and grouting. The scope of supply also included working and as-built documentation.
